The Reykjavík Literary Agency represents authors and titles in the field of literary fiction, crime fiction, classics, narrative non-fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books from various Icelandic publishers.

RLA is owned by Forlagid, Iceland’s largest publishing house, but operates independently. We have something to offer to everyone: quality fiction and non-fiction to publishers and production companies worldwide, and great expertise in handling translation rights for our authors, many of whom are among the most successful and critically acclaimed writers in Iceland. The Reykjavík Literary Agency sells rights worldwide, both directly and through sub-agents.
