The Age of the Sturlungs, named after the most powerful viking clan, was the bloodiest and most violent chapter in the Icelandic history marking the end of the viking era.

When news reaches Thordur Kakali in Norway that his father and brothers, members of the most powerful family in Iceland, the Sturlung clan, have been killed by a rivalling clan, he has few options. He’s heavily in debt and when he learns that hitmen are after him, Thordur decides to face his enemies in Iceland.
