Fridrik Erlingsson (b. 1962) is a graphic designer, illustrator, musician and a screenwriter.
Benjamin dove was his first novel. Fridrik also wrote the award-winning screenplay for the Icelandic film adaptation.

He has written two other YA novels and several screenplays for both live action and animation films.
