Jonas Reynir Gunnarsson

(b.1987) has garnered much attention for his novels Connecting Flight, Starfish, and Death of a Forest, the last of which was nominated for the Icelandic Literary Prize and the European Union Prize for Literature. He has received the Tomas Gudmundsson Literary
Award and the May Star Poetry Prize for his poetry books.
