(b. 1987) holds an MA degree in writing from the University of Iceland and an MFA degree in screenwriting from the New York Film Academy. Her novel, God is Searching for Salome, was published in 2021. She’s previously published a novel and a book of poetry, gaining significant recognition with her debut novel The Queen of Jupiter (2018). Alongside her writing, Julia is a director, producer, radio host and cultural journalist. She adapted God is Searching for Salome into a play which got rave reviews.
