(b. 1985) is an Icelandic artist working across poetry, theatre, dance, choreography, design and large-scale public performance. A 2009 graduate of the Iceland University of the Arts who went on to study acrobatics and physical theatre in Brussels, she has spent over a decade writing for the stage and designing major public works, including the Reykjavík Culture Night fireworks and the opening display for Barcelona’s La Mercè Festival. In 2024 she became the designer and public face of Iceland’s Pink Ribbon campaign. Sigga Soffia is also the founder of Eldblóm, a Nordic design company working with flowers, fragrance, spirits, and performance-based storytelling. She was named Artist of the Year 2024 in her hometown Seltjarnarnes and has been awarded The Optimism Award from the President of Iceland.
