(b. 1982) is the author of award-winning children’s and YA titles including The Stone Animals and Dead Disa. He holds a master‘s degree in Film Studies from the University of Amsterdam and a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Iceland, specialized in animal studies. He has also written stories for video games.
